Our Video Production Process

Our comprehensive video production strategy ensures a perfectly crafted website for your business.

Consultation

This is everything from briefing, brainstorming, concept development and planning – ensuring everybody is on the same page before pre-production. To break it down further, essentially it’s understanding exactly what the client wants to achieve with their video, what are their goals, what do they want to achieve from the video, who is the video aimed at and what is their USP?

It’s very similar to project management in the sense of you’ll be looking at ideas, plan, timeline and budget. Whether you’re making a huge feature film for your business, or a simple sales video; it’s important to go through these stages

Shooting

The second step is where you start getting creative – the storyboarding, visual planning, scouting the best locations, crafting scripts, etc. It’s really the foundation of your build. This is also the perfect time to source additional help you may require, such as make-up artists, hair stylists, additional voice overs or photographers. In layman’s terms – the pre-production is quite simply preparing everything needed in order to have a successful video. Another important process to carry out here is to create a timeline. Set yourselves targets of when you want to have the filming completed, the final edited videos ready to go online etc

Final Video

This then brings us to the production element of the project. All the work you have done to date, with the scripts, visual planning etc. comes together. You’re now set up to start the filming, commission your voice-over artist or start the animation process. Production is the moment where all the time and energy spent in the pre-production and discovery takes flight and turns into something special. As well as shooting for everything you planned, we recommend shooting any extra elements you can. There’s no such thing as too much footage and it’s always great to have a ‘bank’ of footage.
